You can become a Mentor!

Serenade Heights is in need of willing adults to mentor and serve the single mothers in our housing ministry. The mentoring program is one of the most important factors to the success of Serenade Heights. Forming a community or “mentor team” around a single mother family can provide the support she needs to succeed. Showing care when she is in need, celebrating her progress in the program, and simply being a reliable friend will give “your mom” hope, strength, and confidence.

Our volunteers are a group of passionate individuals committed to building strong family foundation in our community.

“The Lord your God is with you,
    the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
    in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
    but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Zephaniah 3:17

Commonly asked questions about our program

Our program is a six month to two-year commitment requiring an initial intensive interviewing process.

We are not a crisis housing shelter and we do not have immediate placement opportunities for moms in crisis. If you are a single mom in desperate need of housing or shelter, please use our Emergency Resources list as a guide.
